I believe we need to see change at the highest levels before we can expect to see change within our communities. I say our as even though I'm in Australia, this sort of delusion and social isolation is increasingly becoming a commonality to people worldwide. This sort of thing makes me wonder whether Bill Gates and his whole "one laptop per child" is a good thing. If I was an impoverished Asian or African I would seriously consider fighting the "technology revolution" tooth and nail! Although I'm kidding of course... Oh…my…God
